  • Project: To work on the project titled: “In silico Discovery & Target Identification for Cytotoxic T Lymphocyte Therapies in Solid Tumours based on Metabolomics-Guided Optimization”
  • PI: Dr. Albeena Nisar, CAR T Cell Therapy Centre, ACTREC, Tata Memorial Centre
  • Funding Agency & Grant Project Title: Department of Biotechnology – Establishment of Advanced Cancer Cell Therapy Biomanufacturing Hub Cancer at ACTREC

Educational Qualification

Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree Professional Course selected through any one of the following:

  • CSIR-UGC NET (including Assistant Professorship) and GATE
  • Selected through national level examination conducted by Central Government or the agencies (ICMR, DBT, DAE, DST, IIT, IISER, NISER, IISc etc.) qualified.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with the following relevant experience (even 1–2) will be given preference:

  • Use of in silico tools for sequence identification, annotation, and analysis.
  • Working knowledge of Linux-based command line, Python, and R.
  • Experience in in-silico pipeline development for genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics.
  • Experience in molecular docking and running MD simulations.
  • Experience in computational drug design and validation.

Salary

Rs. 46,990/-p.m. (Rs. 37,000/- + 27% HRA)

Duration

6 months with further extension depending on satisfactory performance.
