Job Details:
The Senior Executive – Process Sciences role focuses on independent execution and planning of monoclonal antibody upstream processing activities, supporting clinical-grade drug substance development while maintaining compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and plan mAb upstream processing activities
- Perform aseptic cell culture and sterile operations
- Operate mini and laboratory-scale bioreactors
- Conduct media, feed, and supplement preparation
- Optimize upstream processes and scale-up activities
- Ensure GLP/GMP documentation and QA compliance
Educational Requirements:
M.Sc./M.Tech/PhD in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology or equivalent.
Experience:
- 2 to 6 years of experience developing mAb upstream processes from mammalian cell lines in biopharma/biotech or relevant contract research labs. Preference will be for personnel having prior experience in leading a team in biopharma organizations that focus on mAb upstream processing unit operations.
Skills Required:
- Mammalian cell culture and aseptic techniques
- mAb upstream process development experience
- AMBR 15 & AMBR 250 bioreactor handling
- DOE, data analysis, and process optimization
- Strong documentation and compliance knowledge
