Core Responsibilities
In this role, you will be the technical lead for mass spectrometry-based analysis, ensuring the structural integrity and purity of diverse protein candidates.
- Routine Analysis: Perform routine mass analysis of proteins and intricate peptide mass fingerprinting.
- Specialized Characterization: Conduct released glycan analysis and Post-Translational Modification (PTM) analysis to ensure product quality.
- Quantification: Lead the quantification of peptides and the separation/quantification of impurities.
- Data Interpretation: Utilize expertise in database search-based protein identification to extract meaningful results from raw mass spectrometry data.
- Chromatography: Leverage analytical ion exchange and hydrophobic interaction chromatography for comprehensive protein profiling.
Qualification & Experience
Syngene is looking for a proactive team player who can balance independent research with multi-disciplinary collaboration.
- Education: M.Sc/M.Tech or equivalent in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Cell Biology, or Life Sciences.
- Essential Skills:
