Project Research Scientist-I – 01 Post
Job Details:
Invites applications in the prescribed format for a temporary position of Project Research Scientist-I for a project focused on the pathogenesis and progression of Alzheimer’s disease. The project is funded by ICMR, New Delhi, and is scheduled to run for three years.
- Job Title: Project Research Scientist-I
- Title of the Project: Comparative and Functional Analysis of cfDNA, cfmiRNA, cirRNA – miRNA – mRNA networks in pathogenesis and progression of Alzheimer’s disease
- Project Duration: Three Years
- No. of Post: 1 (ONE)
- Principal Investigator: Dr. Arti Sharma
- Emoluments: ₹ 56,000/- per month + 10% HRA
- Term of Engagement: Initially for a period of 01 Year, further extendable up to 3 years and/or co-terminus with the Research Project based on satisfactory work & conduct of the project.
- Age: Up to 35 years as of the date of the interview (Relaxation in age is permissible for SC/ST/OBC/Female candidates as per Government of India rules).
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification:
- First class M. Sc. life sciences [55% for SC/ST/OBC (NCL/PWD)] with NET qualified score card OR
- Second class M.Sc. with a PhD in life sciences from a recognized Board/University/ Institute or Foreign University.
Desirable Qualification:
- Experience in ageing research.
- Experience in molecular biology techniques, including Western blot, Immunohistochemistry, RT-PCR, flow cytometry, etc.
- Adequate experience in computational biology.
- Experience in scientific manuscripts and patent drafting.
- Good communication skills.
