Qualifications
- Essential: Post-graduate degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences with at least two years of expertise in antibacterial drug discovery using chemical genetics
- Desirable: Candidates having Ph.D. degree awarded in the field of Microbiology/ Biotechnology with prior knowledge and expertise in cell wall catalyzing enzymes of bacteria and expertise in molecular biology techniques, analytical chemistry, and Docking analysis will be preferred
Job description
To develop experiments on inhibitor screening against cell wall proteins. Genetic manipulations, molecular cloning, protein purification, and biochemical assays. Animal handling, conduct experiments in animal models.
Emoluments
₹56,000 per month + HRA
Tenure
One year, extendable up to the project duration based on assessment of performance.
