Job Details:
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the purely temporary position of one Research Associate-II (RA-II) in the BRIC-NIPGR Short Term Research Fellowship/Postdoctoral Fellowship programme of the Institute under the supervision of Dr. Shailesh Kumar, Scientist, BRIC-NIPGR. Emoluments will be at par with similar fellowships by DBT/DST and BRIC-NIPGR fellowship norms.

- Position: Research Associate-II
- Supervisor: Dr. Shailesh Kumar
- Programme: Short Term Research Fellowship / Postdoctoral
- Duration: Initially 1 year (extendable)
- Emoluments: ₹61,000/- plus HRA as per norms
Educational Qualification:
- Doctoral Degree in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/Plant Science/Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics or equivalent from recognized University and equivalent, as mentioned in the guidelines as per DST Office dated 26/06/2023, with at least two first-author research articles in international journal (SCI).
Desirable Qualifications:
- Candidates having research experience in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and Computational Analysis of Multiomics Datasets.
Additional Information:
- The above position is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the scheme.
- The initial appointment will be for one year, which can be extended/curtailed on the basis of assessment of the candidate’s performance and discretion of the Competent Authority.
- BRIC-NIPGR reserves the right to select the candidates against the above posts depending upon the qualifications and experience of the candidates.
- Reservation of post shall be as per Government of India norms. The appointment may be terminated at any time by giving one month notice by either side.
- The applicants will have no claim implicit or explicit for consideration against any regular position of BRIC-NIPGR.
