Project & Position Details
- Position: Research Associate-II (RA-II)
- Project Title: “Development of climate resilient brassica by gene editing.”
- PI: Dr. Subhra Chakraborty, Distinguished Scientist.
- Emoluments: ₹61,000 + 27% HRA per month.
- Duration: Initial appointment for one year (extendable based on performance).
Eligibility & Technical Expertise
This Research Associate Job requires a high level of technical proficiency and a proven research track record.
- Essential Qualification: Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Plant Science, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or Bioinformatics from a recognized university.
- Desirable Experience:
- Hands-on expertise in Gene-editing and Crop Genetic Improvement.
- Proficiency in Mass Spectrometry-based Proteomics and Metabolomics.
- Experience with Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and Computational Analysis of Multiomics Data.
- A minimum of one first-author publication in a peer-reviewed journal is preferred.
