Remuneration & Tenure
- Position: Research Associate – III (01 Post).
- Consolidated Fellowship: ₹67,000/- per month + 27% HRA.
- Duration: Initially up to 17/12/2026 (or project completion).
Key Responsibilities
Your primary role will be the estimation of movement intention and motion trajectory using EEG/EMG signals for exosuit control.
- Signal Analysis: Acquiring and analyzing EEG/EMG data to translate neural signals into robotic movement.
- System Prototyping: Possible prototyping of Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) systems.
- Control Algorithms: Developing machine learning models for real-time exoskeleton control and trajectory estimation.
Education & Experience
IIT Delhi is looking for a highly skilled researcher with a background in neural prosthetics or biomedical signal processing.
- Education: PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, or related fields. Candidates with a PhD thesis submitted are also eligible.
- Alternate: M.Tech/ME/M.Sc (Engg) with at least 3 years of experience in EEG signal analysis and a strong publication record in SCI journals.
- Technical Mastery: High proficiency in Matlab and Python is mandatory.
- Software Tools: Working knowledge of Opensim, EEGLab, Brainstorm, or Fieldtrip is highly desirable.
- Experience: Hands-on experience with BCI, neural prosthetics, or BMI interfaces.
