Job Details:
- Project title: “Evaluation of toxicity of formulations B169, C067A against model nematode Caenorhabditis elegans, cyst nematode Heterodera avenae and Pratylenchus spp. in Maize and Wheat crops.”
- No. of post: 01
- Emoluments Fixed per Month:
- INR Rs. 31000 + HRA per month for NET/CSIR UGC/GATE qualified candidates.
- INR Rs. 25000 + HRA) pm per month) for others who do not fall under (i) above (As per SERB OM No. SB/S9/Z-07/2020 dated 25/08/2020)
- Age Limit: 35 Years. Relaxation in the upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC categories shall be applicable as per GoI/ICAR rules. Women candidates are given 5 years’ relaxation in age limit.
Educational Qualifications for this Project Associate Jobs:
- Essential: Master’s degree in Nematology/Entomology/Plant Pathology/Crop Protection/ Biotechnology/Agricultural Biotechnology or any closely related discipline of agriculture or life sciences.
- Desired: Experience of working and culturing plant parasitic nematodes Heterodera avenae and Pratylenchus spp., Caenorhabditis elegans, experience of conducting field trials/experiments, field data collection and analysis, basic molecular techniques, and scientific writing, as evident from publications.
