THSTI is seeking candidates for short-term contractual positions with potential for extension based on performance.
- Project Title: Preclinical network for model development and testing innovations
- PI : Dr. Amit Awasth
1. Research Associate-I
- No of Posts: 01
- Emoluments: ₹58,000 + HRA.
- Qualification: Ph.D. in Life Sciences, Immunology, Virology.
- Desirable: Experience in virus culture (TCID₅₀/plaque assay), neutralization assays, and animal vaccine studies.
2. Project Associate-I
- No of Posts: 02
- Emoluments: ₹31,000 + HRA.
- Qualification: Master’s degree (M.Sc./M.Tech) in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, or allied branches.
- Desirable: Knowledge of PCR, gel electrophoresis, protein estimation, and preclinical workflows.
Key Responsibilities & Technical Skills
In this Research Job, candidates will be expected to operate within a highly regulated and multidisciplinary environment.
- Virology Assays: Conduct virus propagation, titration, and neutralization assays in high-containment facilities.
- Preclinical Studies: Perform and support animal vaccine trials, including dosing, monitoring, and necropsy procedures.
- Molecular Biology: Execute recombinant protein expression, molecular cloning, and genetic engineering experiments.
