Job Details:
- Name of the Post: Post-Doctoral Fellow
- No. of posts: 01 (One)
- Tenure of the appointment: Initially for a period of one year extendable for further period subject to continuation of the project and satisfactory performance of the incumbent.
- Consolidated emoluments per month: Rs 80,000/-
- Age: Not more than 35 years. Age relaxation commensurate with educational qualification(s) and/or experience(s) of the applicant may be considered for candidates having qualifications and experience higher than advertised with the prior approval of the competent authority.
Minimum Educational Qualification
- Ph.D. in Life sciences or related areas of Biological Sciences with a minimum 60% marks or first class or equivalent grade.
Preference
- Experience in LC-MS based proteomics, including sample preparation, instrument handling and data analysis is mandatory
- Experience in mammalian tissue culture, molecular biology and biochemical assays
- Having publications (peer-reviewed papers) showing the experience mentioned above.
Job requirements
- Handle LC-MS based proteomics experiments
- Analyze proteomics data at a cohort level
- Setting up cell models and biochemical assays for validating findings from proteomics experiments
