Notice for NISER Summer Internship Programme (NSIP)

NISER invites online applications from Indian students for the NISER Summer Internship Programme (NSIP). Eligible candidates from UG/PG degree courses can apply for the internship starting from 16th May to 15th July 2026 in the following school:
School of Biological Sciences (SBS)
Students should be registered/enrolled in UG/PG degree courses with Biological Sciences/Biotech as a major subject in recognized Universities/Institutions.
Programme Details
- Internship Duration: May 16th to July 15th 2026.
- No extensions will be considered.
- Previous participants of this programme at NISER are not eligible.
- Applications are limited to vacancies advertised by PIs.
- Consent from faculty through letter/email is required for application.
- Selection by respective PI/Faculty.
- Stipend: ₹5,000 per month for selected interns without other financial support, including single travel support in 2nd Class Sleeper train fare.
- No programme fee for interns.
- Hostel accommodation available at ₹30 per day, subject to availability.
