Job Details:
A Walk-in-interview will be conducted for the selection of Young Professional-I (YP-I) on a contract basis at National Institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management, Thanjavur (NIFTEM-T) – 613005 (Tamil Nadu) on 27/02/2026 at 9.30 AM. Eligible and interested candidates can appear for the walk-in-interview for working in the following Projects as detailed below:
Project Details:
- Title of the Project: Formulation and Development of Tapioca Based Products
- Category: YP-I
- No. of Vacancy: 01
- Essential Qualifications/Eligibility criteria: B.Tech or M.Sc in Food Technology/ Food Process Engineering/Food Science/ Food Science & Nutrition
- Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 25,000 (consolidated pay)
- Date of Completion of Project/ Duration: 9 months
2. Title of the Project: Technology Development for Manufacturing Egg Powder
- Category: YP-I
- No. of Vacancy: 01
- Essential Qualifications/Eligibility criteria: BTech or MSc in Food Technology/ Food Process Engineering/ Food Technology and Management/ Food Science/ Food and Nutrition/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry
- Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 25,000 (consolidated pay)
- Date of Completion of Project/Duration: 6 months from the date of start
General Instructions:
- Age Limit for as on date of Interview (YP-I): 35 years for men and 40 years for women
- Application Fee: Rs.500/- (SC/ST/PWD/Women Candidates are exempted from payment of fees).
- Candidates are requested to fill the application form as per the format provided in the Institute Website.
- The filled in application form (hard copy) should be submitted along with all the necessary documents/certificates copies during the time of interview for verification.
- The interview will be in person only at NIFTEM – Thanjavur. Candidates fulfilling the above eligible criteria are advised to be present on 27.02.2026 with original certificates, including OBC/SC/ST/PH certificates, grade card / mark sheets/ publications, two numbers of color passport-size photographs and CV, as well as a set of photocopies of all relevant documents along with application form prescribed by NIFTEM-T at the time of walk-in-interview.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview
- The appointments are purely on temporary and time-bound basis.
