Job Overview:
These Research Jobs for Freshers involve working in the Organ Mechanobiology Lab, focusing on cell biology, developmental biology, and tissue mechanics using C. elegans as a model system. Selected candidates may continue as PhD students based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- In the early stages:
- You will be trained in the basics of C. elegans handling, RNAi-mediated knock down approaches, and imaging.
- Work closely with PI and lab members to learn techniques in cell biology, molecular biology, microscopy, and genetics.
- Over time, we expect you to:
- Take ownership of a small independent project.
- Develop skills in experimental design, data analysis, and communication.
Educational Requirements:
- Final-year BS-MS students
- MSc in Life Sciences / Biology / Biotechnology / Related fields OR Recent graduates interested in research careers
- Prior experience in a research lab (especially with C. elegans, imaging, or cell biology, quantitative image analysis) is a plus, but not required.
- We are looking for students who are curious, committed, and excited about learning.
- Priority will be given to candidates who can stay for more than one year.
