Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage QC microbiology projects in a GMP environment
- Maintain project plans, risk registers, action logs, and status reports
- Coordinate with QC, QA, Manufacturing, Validation, and Supply Chain teams
- Support endotoxin, sterility, and bioburden testing of drug products
- Ensure compliance with validated methods, SOPs, and ALCOA+ principles
- Lead OOS/OOT/deviation investigations and implement CAPA
- Drive continuous improvement in QC microbiology operations
- Prepare GMP documentation, including protocols, reports, and change controls
- Support internal and external audits
- Lead team meetings, mentor staff, and communicate risks and progress effectively
Education
Master’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology, or related field.
Experience
- 3–7 years of experience in a GMP-regulated QC Microbiology or pharmaceutical environment.
- Demonstrated project management experience coordinating laboratory or manufacturing-related projects.
- Hands-on familiarity with microbiological test methods for drug products and/or Biological drug substance: endotoxin, sterility testing, bioburden, and related environmental monitoring practices.
