In this Lab Technician Job (acting as a QMDM Administrator), you become a pivotal player in ensuring that product and quality master data remains accurate and compliant with global standards.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you aren’t just testing samples; you are ensuring the digital “source of truth” for product quality is flawless.
- Accuracy & Compliance: Translate customer quality demands into procedures, specifications, and digital data used throughout the company.
- Global Support: Manage the setup of quality master data for new formulations and materials across multiple international IFF sites.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as the expert for quality master data queries, including religious (Halal/Kosher) and regulatory declarations.
- Risk Mitigation: Support the organization by making informed decisions on tariff codes, TTB permits, and regulatory documentation.
- System Integrity: Maintain and update master data to ensure manufacturing units remain compliant and efficient.
Qualification & Experience
IFF is looking for a blend of technical background and strong analytical skills.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Experience: Ideally 3–4 years of Quality Assurance experience specifically within the food or ingredient industry.
- Technical Toolkit:
- Solid understanding of SAP ERP (QM module) and master data principles.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office and data analysis.
- Soft Skills: Strong command of English (written and verbal), detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to coordinate projects across cross-functional teams.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Prior exposure to food safety management, sustainability documentation, or tariff classifications will make you stand out.
