Eligibility & Desirable Skills

This Junior Research Fellow position is open to Indian nationals with a strong background in life sciences and computational biology.

  • Essential Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Plant Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, or Life Sciences.
  • National Entrance: Candidates must have been selected through a national-level exam (CSIR/UGC-NET, GATE) or tests conducted by central agencies like DST, DBT, ICAR, or IIT.
  • Desirable Experience:

    • Familiarity with analyzing large-scale NGS datasets.

Fellowship & Tenure Details

  • Qualified Candidates: ₹36,000 per month (inclusive of HRA) for those who have cleared NET/GATE or equivalent national exams.
  • Non-Qualified Candidates: ₹25,000 per month (inclusive of HRA) for those without national-level exam qualification.
  • Duration: The post is for three years, with annual extensions based on performance reviews.
