Job Details:
- Position: Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)
- Department: School of Biotechnology, Institute of Science
- No. of posts: 01
- Project Title: Structural and functional characterization of human CHST11 and CHST13 sulfotransferases involved in regulation of metastasis and chemosensitivity of hepatocellular carcinoma
- Duration: Initially 12 months (extendable up to 2 years)
- Age: The upper age limit is 28 years
- Emoluments: As per the DBT norms of fellowship
Educational Qualifications:
- Essential: M.Sc. in Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Life Sciences / Zoology from an Indian University/Institute with a minimum of 55% marks, must be qualified any JRF/NET or GATE exam, and have a good academic record.
- Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidates having CSIR/NET-JRF/NET-LS/GATE in Biological Sciences with research experience in Cancer Biology / Enzymology (recombinant protein expression in mammalian expression systems) / Systems Biology (Model development and data integration to models). The candidate should have excellent experience in molecular biology techniques.
