Available Positions
1. Research Associate (RA) – 01 Position
- Project Title: DBT funded project entitled “Genomics-assisted breeding for development of Dry-DSR ready Basmati rice varieties”
- Essential Qualification: Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Life Sciences OR having 3 years of research, teaching, and design and development experience after M.Tech (Life Sciences) with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal. (As per DST Office Memorandum No. DST/PCPM/Z06/2022, Dated: 26-07-2023)
- Desirable: Experience in molecular markers, marker-assisted breeding, field phenotyping, and handling of rice crop.
- Emoluments (Fixed per month): Rs. 58,000+ 27% HRA
2. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – 01 Position
- Project Title: ICAR funded project “Consortium Research Platform on Molecular Breeding (Rice)”
- Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/Life Sciences with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Candidates with a Postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences with a 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET, GATE qualification, or equivalent, or Ph.D. in any of the above disciplines. (As per ICAR memorandum F. No. Ag.Edn.6/27/2014-HRD dated 30-8-2019)
- Desirable: Experience in molecular markers, marker-assisted breeding, field phenotyping, and handling of rice crop.
- Emoluments (Fixed per month): Rs. 37,000/- + 30% HRA
3. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – 01 Position
- Project Title: ICAR funded project Incentivizing Research in Agriculture – Rice
- Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/Life Sciences with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Candidates with a Postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences with a 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET, GATE qualification, or equivalent, or Ph.D. in any of the above disciplines. (As per ICAR memorandum F. No. Ag.Edn.6/27/2014-HRD dated 30-8-2019)
