- Position: Project Associate-I

- Project Title: Pre-feasibility studies and establishment of pilot-scale farming of commercially important seaweeds in Andhra Pradesh coast
- Funding: Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty, DRDA, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. P.C. No.: GAP-2197
Nature of Work
Cultivation of commercially important seaweeds & training to the SHG households/ fishermen/ coastal villagers in Andhra Pradesh Coast.
Essential Qualification
M.Sc., in Marine Biology / Marine Science / Biotechnology / Life Sciences
Desirable Qualification
Experience in seaweed farming & marine field sampling / Diving certificate
Monthly Emolument
- (a) Rs. 31000/- + HRA for those candidates who have qualified CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET incl. lectureship / Assistant Professorship or GATE OR those who qualified National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments like DBT/DST or equivalent and/or their Agencies and Institutions.
- (b) Rs. 25000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (a) above.
Age Limit
35 years (Relaxation in age as per CSIR norms)
Tenure
These positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. It would not confer any right/claim, implicit or explicit, for any candidate to claim absorption in CSIR-CSMCRI.
The engagement of a project staff in different projects, either in the CSIR – Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Bhavnagar, or different Laboratories/Institutes of CSIR taken together, shall not exceed 06 years in any case. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim, implicit or explicit, for any candidate to claim extension or absorption in CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar.
