Key Responsibilities
In this role, you aren’t just crunching numbers; you are a medical expert responsible for the statistical integrity of biomarker discovery.
- Clinical Study Design: Provide high-quality input into protocol development, ensuring biomarker data (e.g., RNAseq, Olink, flow cytometry) is captured to meet study objectives.
- Advanced Data Processing: Perform normalization and pre-processing of scRNAseq and high-dimensional datasets.
- Statistical Modeling: Oversee the execution of the Statistical Analysis Plan (SAP), utilizing survival analysis, linear mixed models, and ROC curves.
- Insight Generation: Propose and perform exploratory biomarker data analyses to identify early drivers of disease or therapeutic response.
- CRO Coordination: Manage external partners and Contract Research Organizations (CROs) to ensure seamless data flow and analysis quality.
Education & Experience
Sanofi is seeking a candidate who is proactive, scientifically driven, and capable of operating in a global, fast-paced environment.
Technical & Educational Requirements:
- Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Bioinformatics or a related field.
- Omics Expertise: Hands-on experience handling RNAseq, scRNAseq, Olink, and network analyses.
- Statistical Techniques: Deep knowledge of high-dimensional statistics, including:
- Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Cluster Analysis.
- Bayesian Hierarchical Models.
- $Lasso$ and Support Vector Machines (SVM).
- Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in R & R-Shiny are mandatory; knowledge of Python, C++, or other computing environments is a plus.
