- Position: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

- Emoluments: ₹42,000 + 10% HRA per month.

Eligibility & Skills Required
To be considered for this NIFTEM Career opportunity, candidates must meet the following academic and technical requirements:
Essential Qualifications:
- Education: B.Tech. in Biotechnology OR M.Sc./M.Tech. in Life Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Nanoscience, or Molecular Biology.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in biosensors development, immunoassays, nanoscience, or POCT analytical techniques.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with protein expression systems and affinity chromatography (Ni-NTA, Protein A/G).
- Familiarity with bio-conjugation and nanoparticle conjugation (AuNPs, Quantum Dots).
- Experience in hybridoma techniques or recombinant antibody engineering.
- Skills in assay validation, including LOD estimation and statistical performance analysis.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Kit Development: Design and optimize strip-based or colorimetric immunoassays for milk matrices.
- Analytical Characterization: Use UV-Vis spectroscopy, FTIR, DLS, and TEM/SEM to confirm the stability of bio-conjugates.
- Regulatory Alignment: Ensure the assay validation aligns with FSSAI and ISO guidelines.
- Documentation: Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), patents, and technical reports.
