Position & Project Details
- Position: Project Scientist
- Number of positions: One
- Title of the Project: “Testing charges for equipment usage and vector production”
- Principal Investigator: Prof. Jayandharan G. Rao, MFCEM, IIT Kanpur.
- Salary: ₹57,600 per month (Consolidated).
- Tenure: Initially for 1 year, extendable based on performance.
- Location: Lab-16, MFCEM, IIT Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
Eligibility & Skills
This IIT Recruitment requires a high degree of specialization in biosciences or bioengineering.
Essential Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Biosciences, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, or a relevant discipline. or
- M.Sc./M.Tech in Biotechnology, Biosciences, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Biophysics, or a relevant discipline with at least 3 years of post-degree research experience and at least one research publication in an SCI-indexed journal.
Desirable Experience:
- Prior experience working in a cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) facility for biopharma products is highly preferred.
