- Project Title: DBT-BUILDER – “Connecting Cellular and Molecular approaches to understand Organismal Biology and Disease (C2MOD)”
- Tenure: Till 15.03.2027
Available Positions
1. Project Assistant (Two Posts)
- Job Description: The selected candidate will be expected to perform all assigned tasks including preparation and coordination of work reports, progress reports, participate in the purchase of items, processing of bills, record keeping, helping in field work/laboratory maintenance.
- Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Science (BSc) from a recognized university or 3 years of Diploma in Engineering and Technology.
- Desirable Qualification: At least one year of experience working in any research laboratory/institute, preferably in a life science institute/ laboratory. ‘Experience certificate’ from a previous employer is required in support of the work experience.
- Consolidated Emoluments: 20000/- plus 24% HRA as per rules.
2. Project Associate (One Post)
- Job Description: The selected candidate will be expected to perform all assigned tasks primarily for helping in laboratory research and operating scientific equipment, including FACS/ Confocal microscopy/ Fluorescence microscopy, and participate in organizing laboratory training programs. The candidate will also be expected to prepare and coordinate work reports, participate in the purchase of items, processing of bills, record keeping, etc.
- Essential Qualification: Candidates having M.Sc. degree in Life Sciences/ Allied disciplines from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Desirable Qualification: Candidates having hands-on experience of operating any scientific equipment/s of high value available in life sciences laboratories, preferably FACS/ Confocal microscopy/ Fluorescence microscopy, and research/ training in Cell Biology/ Molecular Biology techniques will be preferred. ‘Experience certificate’ from a previous employer is required in support of the work experience.
- Consolidated Emoluments: 31000 p.m. plus 24% HRA as per rules.
