- Project Title: Study of the Complex Genetic System for Developing a Package of R/S Genes to Breed for Spot Blotch Resistance in Bread Wheat

Available Positions
1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF): One Post (1)
- Duration: Initially for 1 year. Extension will be provided based on performance in the first year. Project duration is for three years.
- Essential Qualification: Postgraduate in Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Plant Pathology/ Agricultural Botany/ Plant Biotechnology/or any other branch of Life Science with at least 55% marks. Candidates who have qualified National Eligibility Tests ICAR, CSIR, UGC-NET, and GATE.
- Desirable Qualification: Experience in working with plant Breeding/ Genetics/ Biochemistry/ Physiology.
- Age: 28 years (Age relaxation SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/Female as per GOI rules) as on date of interview.
- Emoluments: INR 37,000/- Per Month + 18% HRA
2. Research Associate I (RA-I): One Post (1)
- Duration: Initially for 1 year. Extension will be provided based on performance in the first year. Project duration is for three years.
- Essential Qualification: A Ph.D. in Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Plant Pathology/ Agricultural Botany/ Plant Biotechnology/ or a related discipline from a reputed University/Institution.
- Desirable Qualification: Proven track record of molecular biology, biotechnology techniques or genomic pipelines, supported by two (02) research papers as a First Author or Equal First Author research publications in SCI-indexed journals.
- Age: 40 years (Age relaxation SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/Female as per GOI rules) as on date of interview.
- Emoluments: INR 58,000/- Per Month + 18% HRA
