Position & Project Details
- Position: Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)
- Principal Investigator: Prof. Himanshu Kumar.
- Salary: ₹66,080 per month (₹56,000 + 18% HRA).
- Duration: One year (extendable based on performance and funding).
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years at the time of application.
Project Scope & Desirable Skills
The project aims to develop a sensitive platform for the early detection of oral cancer by targeting specific microRNA (miRNA) biomarkers.
- Essential Qualifications:
- First Class Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences.
- OR Second Class Master’s degree in these fields with a Ph.D..
- OR First class graduate degree of four years for Engineering/IT/CS candidates.
- Desirable Expertise:
- Prior experience in Molecular Biology and handling clinical samples.
- Knowledge of RNA biology, miRNA research, and bioinformatics.
- Proficiency in Small RNA sequencing data analysis and a strong publication record.
