Position Details
1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (1 Post)
- Emoluments: INR 37,000/- Per Month + 18% HRA
- Key Qualifications & Age Limit
- Essential: Postgraduate in Genetics & Plant Breeding, Plant Pathology, Agricultural Botany, Plant Biotechnology, or Life Science (min. 55%).
- Must have qualified National Eligibility Tests (ICAR, CSIR, UGC-NET, or GATE).
- Age: 28 years.
2. Research Associate I (RA-1) (1 Post)
- Emoluments: INR 58,000/- Per Month + 18% HRA
- Key Qualifications & Age Limit:
- Essential: Ph.D. in Genetics & Plant Breeding, Plant Pathology, Agricultural Botany, Plant Biotechnology, or related discipline.
- Proven track record in molecular biology/biotechnology or genomic pipelines with two SCI-indexed publications as first author.
- Age: 40 years.
Duration: Both positions are initially for one year, with extensions based on performance. The total project duration is three years.
Age Relaxation: Relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates apply per the Government of India rules.
