About the Role
The Senior Regulatory Officer ensures that every blend and package meets the rigorous standards set by Indian statutory bodies. This role is critical for the “Health & Wellbeing” segment, where claims must be scientifically substantiated and legally compliant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Align regulatory roadmaps with New Product Development (NPD) and identify potential industry hurdles before they impact the supply chain.
- Compliance Management: Ensure 100% adherence to FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) regulations regarding product composition and labeling.
- Statutory Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for the Tea Board of India and other licensing and renewal agencies.
- Specialized Licensing: Manage specific geographical and quality marks, including:
- Darjeeling CTM (Certified Trade Mark) and logo applications.
- Assam Logo licensing and Flavour licenses.
- Capability Building: Conduct workshops to train internal stakeholders on legislative updates and risk-based regulatory advice.
Qualifications & Experience
