Position Details

- Project Title: “Identification of Novel Extracellular Vesicle-Associated Bacterial Antigens and Host Biomarkers in Bacterial Pneumonia”

Essential Qualifications
Three years graduate in relevant subject field + three years of experience or post-graduation in the field of Life Science/ Microbiology/ Cell biology/ Immunology.
Desirable Qualifications
- Prior working experience with mammalian cell cultures and preferably extracellular vesicles/exosomes isolation and characterization.
- Proficiency in basic molecular biology techniques including RNA isolation, protein gel electrophoresis, western blotting.
- Basic experience of microbiology techniques in BSL2 laboratory.
- Familiar with proteomics, RNA sequencing and data analysis.
- Experience of working with clinical samples will be an advantage.
- Basic laboratory maintenance, including ordering supplies, inventory, preparing reports, and assisting with research staff.
Age
Below 30 years as on February 06, 2026. Age relaxation will be given as per Govt. of India norms.
Emolument
₹ 28000/- + 20% HRA per month for candidates having both essential and desirable qualifications. Hostel facilities will be provided by RGCB subject to availability in lieu of HRA.
Duration
Initially for a period of one year or till termination of the project whichever is earlier and extendable based on the performance evaluation.
