Key Responsibilities

  • Receipt, registration and upkeep of all the samples in the laboratory.
  • Perform sampling of water and compressed analysis as per plan to adhere to the schedules and meet priorities.
  • Analysis to be performed based on qualification matrix of the analyst for MLT, environmental monitoring, water testing chemical, media preparation, growth promotion, compressed air testing etc.
  • To perform microbial suitability testing for the new materials / product.
  • Timely and error free documentation as per the GLP requirement.
  • Calibrations of Laboratory Instruments and Equipment.
  • Used media decontamination after reporting the observations.
  • Revision and updation of Standard Operating Procedures, test methods and specifications.
  • Maintenance of media, biological indicator and Gastec tubes etc.
  • To ensure compliance to the requirements of policy and procedures on Data Integrity.
  • Timely reporting of Out of Action/Alert Limits, OOT, Trends, Deviations and LIR (If any).
  • To maintain the assigned Laboratory workplace, instruments, and equipment.
  • To ensure timely disposition of analytical samples.
  • To ensure that the analysis is Right first time and activity completion as per committed timeline.
  • Trend preparation for the water, environmental monitoring and summary preparation for compressed air.
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned trainings.
  • Active participation in regulatory Audits.

Experience and Qualifications

  • BSc/ MSc in Microbiology/ Degree in Biotechnology
  • 1-3 years
