Job Overview:
As part of ICON’s clinical operations team, the Configuration & QC Specialist I supports the setup and quality review of clinical trial databases and electronic data capture systems. The role focuses on performing quality control checks, ensuring data integrity, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting validation activities critical to delivering reliable clinical trial data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in configuration and setup of clinical trial databases and EDC systems
- Perform QC checks on clinical trial data and documentation
- Identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, and data entry errors
- Collaborate with data management, biostatistics, and clinical teams
- Support validation plans for EDC systems and data processes
- Provide user training on system configuration and QC procedures
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with clinical standards
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, or related field
- 1+ years of experience in clinical data management, data entry, or related role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of QC Jobs within clinical data environments
