Job Overview:
This Project Lead role in the Small Molecule Bioanalytical Research Laboratory is a technical and people leadership position responsible for overseeing regulated bioanalytical studies in clinical development. The role includes method development, method validation, study sample analysis, regulatory compliance, project coordination, and team leadership while ensuring adherence to GCP, GLP, and ALCOA++ standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and oversee bioanalytical method development, validation, and study sample analysis
- Guide scientists and research associates in executing regulated bioanalytical experiments
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for instrument and utility support (LC-MS/MS, HPLC)
- Review analytical data, documentation, and official study records
- Coordinate with QA for audits and compliance activities
- Support documentation and reporting teams for MV and bioanalytical reports
- Ensure compliance with GCP, GLP, SOPs, and regulatory expectations
- Participate in project-specific scientific discussions and decision-making
- Demonstrate leadership, accountability, and performance management of reporting staff
Educational Requirements:
- Master’s or PhD in Life Sciences from a reputed university
Skills Required:
- Strong expertise in small molecule regulated bioanalysis
- Hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS and HPLC systems
- Proven leadership and people management skills
- Strong scientific troubleshooting and risk-mitigation ability
- Experience in CRO bioanalytical laboratory environments
- Knowledge of ALCOA++ documentation practices
- Excellent communication, project management, and client engagement skills
