Project Associate
- Project titled: “Advanced bioinformatics centre for research in tribal health and regional well-being”
- Number of posts: 1
- Upper age limit: 28 years
- Remuneration: 37000 + 16% HRA per month
- Project duration: Approx. 3 years or the completion of the project as per GoI orders and based on annual performance appraisal.
Educational qualification:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in science, with at least 60% marks or equivalent.
- The candidates must have qualified at least one of the national-level competitive exams, such as NET/GATE/GPAT, etc.
Desirable qualifications:
- Bioinformatics research experience (machine learning/molecular modeling/NGS data analysis/database development) will be a plus. The candidate should have programming/scripting knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support bioinformatics research related to tribal health and regional well-being
- Perform data analysis using bioinformatics and computational tools
- Assist in NGS data analysis, database development, and molecular modeling
- Contribute to research reports and technical documentation
- Support interdisciplinary research activities under the project
Skills Required:
- Bioinformatics and computational biology skills
- Programming/scripting knowledge
- Experience with data analysis and modeling tools
