Position & Project Details
- Position: Project Associate II (01 Position).
- Project Title: Investigating viroporins essential for viral assembly as targets for antiviral design.
- PI: Dr. Soma Chattopadhyay
- Fellowship: ₹35,000/- + HRA @ 16%.
- Duration: Upto May 2027 (Coterminous with the project).
- Age Limit: Below 35 years as of the date of advertisement (Relaxation as per Govt. rules).
Eligibility & Technical Preferences
This role is ideal for experienced researchers with a strong foundation in molecular and cell biology.
- Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or allied branches.
- Mandatory Certification: Must have CSIR-UGC NET-JRF/NET-LS/GATE qualification.
- Required Experience: At least 2 years of Research experience.
- Preferred Expertise: Candidates with prior experience in virology, molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, animal handling, and BSL-3 laboratory work will be prioritized.
