Position Details
The engagement is strictly temporary and co-terminus with the project. The initial appointment is until March 31, 2026, with the possibility of an extension for nearly three years based on performance and requirements.
- Project Associate – I (PAT-I): There are 03 positions available with a stipend of ₹25,000 per month plus HRA.
- Project Associate – II (PAT-II): There are 02 positions available with a stipend of ₹28,000 per month plus HRA.
- Age Limit: Candidates must not exceed 35 years as of January 26, 2026. Standard government relaxations apply for SC/ST, OBC, Women, and PwBD candidates.
- Tenure Constraint: Total cumulative engagement as project staff within CSIR laboratories cannot exceed 6 years.
Eligibility and Functional Requirements
To qualify for this Project Associate Job, applicants must have completed their degrees and received final results. Candidates in their final semester or awaiting results are not eligible.
Project Associate – I Requirements:
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Food Science and Technology or an equivalent degree from a recognized university.
- Primary Duties: The role focuses on product development and comprehensive food analysis.
- Desirable Experience: Prior hands-on experience in developing food products is highly preferred.
Project Associate – II Requirements:
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Food Science and Technology or equivalent.
- Required Experience: At least 2 years of R&D experience in industrial, academic, or S&T organizations.
- Primary Duties: In addition to product development and analysis, this role involves training and field-level monitoring of THR production in Himachal Pradesh.
