1. Project Assistant (1 No)
- Project Title: MACS-ARI RAC Sponsored Project (ARI-003) Titled “Agharkar Herbarium of MACS and repository of Flowering plants/Diatoms (Erstwhile BOT-17)
- Principal Investigator’s: ARI-003: Dr. M. N. Datar
- Qualifications: First Class in M.Sc. Botany/M.Sc. Complexity Science.
- Desirable: Specialization in plant identification. Experience in field work in Western Ghats, Herbarium preparation, Digitization, and Management.
2. Project Assistant (1 No)
- Project Title: MACS-ARI RAC Sponsored Project (ARI-016) Titled “Investigating Desiccation Tolerance in the Endemic Grass Tripogon lisboae Stapf: Life Cycle Dynamics, Germplasm Conservation, and Molecular Mechanisms”
- Principal Investigator’s: Dr. M.N. Datar (PI), Dr. R.M. Patil (Co-PI), Dr. P.P. Kulkarni (Co-PI)
- Qualifications: First Class in M.Sc. Botany/ Biotechnology/ Molecular biology.
- Desirable: Specialization in plant identification. Experience in field work in Western Ghats and Biochemistry and Molecular works.
Monthly Stipend: ₹ 20,000 + HRA (As applicable)
Age Limit (as on date of interview)
50 Years as on closing date of advt. (Relaxation applicable for OBC, SC, ST etc. categories according to Govt of India regulations.)

- The prescribed essential qualifications are minimum and possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview. Consideration of qualifications as equivalent is at the discretion of the relevant committee formed for scrutinizing the applications.

- The Positions/requirements are purely contractual. The selected candidates may be assigned to another project based on Institutional requirements.
