Applications are invited from the eligible and suitable Indian nationals for the position of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) in ICMR funded project entitled “Therapeutic potential for the topical application of bacterial bioactive metabolites to modulate pathogenic interactions and inhibit growth of Corynebacterium in severe Dry eye disease” on purely contractual basis tenable at BHERC, LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad. Tenure of the position will be co-terminus with the project.

Project Title: Therapeutic potential for the topical application of bacterial bioactive metabolites to modulate pathogenic interactions and inhibit growth of Corynebacterium in severe Dry eye disease
Emoluments: Rs. 56,000/- + HRA (16,800/-) = Rs. 72, 800/-
Duration: Initial appointment will be for one year which may be further extended subjected to the project duration and performance. The position will be co-terminated with the project.
Essential Qualification: The candidate must have first class in post graduate degree in Life science/ Medicinal/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry with a Ph.D. Suitable candidates whose Ph. D thesis is submitted may also apply.
Desirable Qualification: The candidate must have experience in various techniques in molecular biology (Cell culture, RT-qPCR, Western-blot, confocal microscopy, Flow cytometry, RNA extraction, etc). Should have fair knowledge in RNA sequencing data analysis, Metabolome data analysis, etc.
