VINS Bioproducts Ltd is seeking a highly skilled QC Scientist – Biologics to join its Quality Control (BioCS) team. The role involves hands-on experience in laboratory animal handling, monitoring animal husbandry activities, antibody-related work, and ensuring compliance with SOPs and GLP standards while supporting QC operations.
Qualifications
· PhD in Biotechnology (mandatory)
· Candidates with strong research and laboratory exposure in biologics and animal studies are preferred
Experience
· Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in animal handling and QC/biologics-related laboratory work
Roles & Responsibilities
· Perform handling and maintenance of laboratory animals, including rats and rabbits, following ethical and regulatory guidelines.
· Monitor and manage animal husbandry activities, ensuring proper housing, feeding, health checks, and welfare standards.
· Support antibody-related studies, including monitoring immune responses and assisting in antibody generation protocols.
· Administer injections and dosing to laboratory animals as per approved study protocols.
· Ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
· Maintain accurate documentation, logbooks, and QC records in compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
· Collaborate closely with the Quality Control Department to support biologics testing and validation activities.
· Assist in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives related to QC and animal studies.
Key Skills & Competencies
· Strong knowledge of animal handling techniques (rat & rabbit)
· Familiarity with animal ethics, GLP, and SOP-driven environments
· Hands-on experience with injections and biological sample handling
· Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
· Ability to work collaboratively within the QC team
