Job Overview:
The Payment Associate will support investigator payment activities by reviewing EDC and contracts, processing invoices, performing QC checks, coordinating approvals, and ensuring accurate payment reconciliation. The role also includes documentation management, study support activities, and adherence to SOPs and ICH-GCP guidelines within a professional office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review EDC, contracts, and process investigator payments
- Generate cover letters, proforma invoices, and payment batches
- Perform invoice QC and payment reconciliation
- Coordinate approvals with CTL and PM teams
- Process out-of-pocket and pass-through expense invoices
- Maintain project and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with SOPs and ICH-GCP guidelines
- Support investigator submissions and study start-up activities
- Assist study teams with uploads and query follow-ups
Educational Requirements:
- University/College Degree (Life Science preferred) or certification in an allied health profession from an appropriately accredited institution (Ex. Nursing certification, Medical or laboratory technology).
- 00-02 years of work experience in clinical research, including a strong working knowledge of the ICH-GCP guidelines and all other applicable guidelines and regulations.
- Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.
Experience (Minimum Required):
- 00-02 Years of experience in the job discipline.
- 00-02 Years of experience in other professional roles.
Skills Required:
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Good organizational and communication skills
