Roles & Responsibilities (Job Description):
· Design, plan, and execute R&D experiments related to biopolymers, biomaterials, and
chemical formulations
· Work on cost-effective manufacturing of PLA, PHA/PHB, polymer blends, additives,
composites, and functional materials
· Develop and optimize formulations to enhance mechanical, thermal, and chemical
properties
· Perform process optimization for compounding, blending, and scale-up readiness
· Translate lab-scale formulations into pilot-scale and production-scale processes
· Support research documentation, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements (Skills & Experience):
· Basic understanding of polymer science, biopolymers, or materials chemistry
· Knowledge of fermentation processes and bioreactor design
· Familiarity with chemical process design and scale-up concepts
· Interest and passion for sustainability, green manufacturing, and renewable materials
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
· Hands-on or academic experience with PLA, PHA, PHB, or biodegradable polymers
· Exposure to polymer chemistry, biochemical engineering, or bioprocess engineering
· Research-oriented mindset with problem-solving skills
Qualifications:
· Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related
disciplines
· Freshers or candidates with 0–6 months of experience are encouraged to apply
· Strong preference for candidates with a research and development background in
bioplastics
Salary & Benefits:
· CTC: Approximately ₹6 LPA
· Final compensation will depend on interview performance, skills, and experience
