Job Overview:
This Microbiology Job focuses on quality control microbiology testing, data analysis, media preparation, and laboratory compliance. The role involves routine microbiological analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products while maintaining GLP, GMP, and safety standards within Novonesis’ QC laboratory operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Microbial Limit Tests (MLT) and analyze microbiological trends
- Conduct microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
- Operate and maintain QC microbiology instruments including autoclave, LAF, incubators, pH meter, and balances
- Prepare culture media and ensure proper sterilization and storage
- Perform daily verification and calibration of laboratory instruments as per SOPs
- Maintain accurate documentation, test records, and reports
- Follow GLP, GMP, laboratory quality standards, and safety procedures
Educational Requirements:
- BSc or MSc in Microbiology or Biotechnology
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in QC microbiology or related laboratory roles
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of microbiological techniques and testing methods
- Hands-on experience in QC microbiology laboratory operations
- Ability to analyze and interpret microbiological data
- Knowledge of media preparation and environmental monitoring
- Familiarity with GMP and regulatory guidelines
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
