Job Overview:
This Microbiology job focuses on executing analysis of allocated samples and producing reliable and reproducible microbiological results to ensure compliance with predefined quality parameters and specifications. The Junior Team Member – Microbiology supports sample analysis, data review, report preparation, environmental monitoring, and strict adherence to cGMP, GLP, and GDP standards. The role plays a key part in timely batch release and maintaining laboratory quality systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse microbiology samples as per work allocation and priority
- Review data as per specifications, microbiological methods, and results obtained
- Prepare, review, and submit reports within stipulated timelines
- Report errors, abnormal observations, and non-compliances promptly
- Initiate investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Ensure proper documentation of raw data and test results
- Maintain compliance with cGMP, GLP, and GDP requirements
- Support equipment maintenance and evaluate instrument breakdowns
- Perform environmental monitoring, water sample analysis, and sterility testing
Educational Requirements:
- M.Sc. in Microbiology
- 1–5 years of experience for analyst roles
Skills Required:
- Sound knowledge of microbiological analysis and testing
- Ability to perform MLT, sterility, bioburden, and water testing
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Attention to detail and compliance-driven mindset
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to work under deadlines and meet SLAs
