Key Responsibilities
- Must have knowledge to handle and analyze RT-PCR instruments (Extraction, reaction, denaturation).
- Must know the analysis of enzyme-related samples.
- Responsible for performing routine sample analysis without errors with no more than 50% supervision.
- Must be proficient in aseptic technique, serial dilutions, quantitative enumeration of microorganisms, and preparation of test media.
- Follow all assigned SOPs and analysis test protocols without any deviation.
- Responsible for conducting method validation/calibration of the lab equipment.
- Must be able to operate basic and intermediate microbiological lab equipment without assistance.
- Maintain and update the lab chemicals/media stock.
- Maintain and operate the lab equipment effectively.
- Must know the analysis of nutritional parameters.
- Maintain and update lab notebook and instrument logbook.
- Records and maintains accurate test results and enters them into the computer database.
- Follow good laboratory and safety practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (Biotechnology, microbiology) with less than six months of experience/Freshers (OR)
- Master of Science (Biotechnology, microbiology) – Freshers or work experience
