Key Responsibilities
- Lead product development projects using Stage Gate process
- Develop commercially viable food products aligned with project briefs
- Generate and manage project timelines in collaboration with project teams
- Ensure compliance with innovation management processes and documentation
- Develop implementation plans for smooth handover to production and QA
- Interface with customers, suppliers, and co-manufacturers
- Coordinate ingredient sourcing and technology evaluation
- Support Sales and Marketing through technical presentations
- Provide technical support to Operations, QA, Procurement, and Engineering
- Operate online specification management systems
- Present products professionally in internal and external forums
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree BTech (Food Technology/ Science) B. Sc (Food Science).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of successful work experience in food product development and related area.
Skills Required
- Strong understanding of food manufacturing operations
- Hands-on experience in food product development
- Knowledge of statistical process control concepts
- Ability to analyze consumer research data
- Mathematical and statistical data analysis skills
- Knowledge of food laws, regulations, and compliance
- Experience with nutritional facts, ingredient declarations, and formulation
- Strong documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills
