Job Overview
The primary focus of this role is Pharmacovigilance Operations, specifically managing drug safety surveillance and the processing of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Identification: Identify and create cases in the Global Safety Database from intake workflows, client mailboxes, and electronic gateways.
- End-to-End Processing: Manage triage, case prioritization, and data entry for both serious and non-serious adverse event cases.
- Medical Coding: Perform medical and drug coding for each case using international standards such as MedDRA and WHO-Drug.
- Medical Writing: Draft case narratives and sender’s comments based on source documents to ensure clear reporting.
- Regulatory Submission: Perform submissions in the global safety database for Adverse Events (AEs), Serious Adverse Events (SAEs), and SUSAR cases according to strict timelines.
- Quality & Compliance: Validate data consistency, perform case corrections, and conduct reconciliation of pharmacovigilance data to meet global regulatory requirements.
