Key Responsibilities
- Perform scientific and data QC reviews of medical documents including manuscripts, posters, tables, figures, and extracts
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across text, tables, and graphical outputs
- Cross-check scientific content against cited references for medical accuracy and regulatory alignment
- Verify compliance with FDA, EU, ICH, and internal style guidelines
- Ensure correct source annotation and one-to-one alignment between in-text citations and reference lists
- Copyedit documents using AMA and custom medical writing style guides
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, flagging risks proactively
- Participate in internal and client meetings to resolve comments efficiently
- Support lead medical writers and contribute to overall medical writing deliverables
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in the life sciences, clinical sciences; or copyediting, data integrity review, and/or relevant publishing experience.
Skills Required
- Strong expertise in medical content QC and scientific review
- Excellent grammar, editing, and communication skills
- Familiarity with AMA Style Guide
- Knowledge of FDA, EU, ICH, and ISO regulatory standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Team-oriented mindset with independent working capability
