Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Lab Intern to support day-to-day laboratory operations. The intern will work closely with the lab team and assist in laboratory activities as well as inventory management related to lab consumables and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in routine laboratory activities and experiments as per protocols
• Support sample handling, labeling, and basic processing under supervision
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and ensure adherence to safety guidelines
• Assist in inventory management of lab consumables, reagents, and chemicals
• Track usage of lab materials and update inventory records
• Coordinate with the lab team for timely availability of supplies
• Help in documentation, record-keeping, and data entry related to lab work
• Follow SOPs and quality standards set by the organization
Educational Qualification
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology,
Genetics, or related fields)
Desired Skills
• Basic understanding of laboratory practices
• Willingness to learn and work in a lab environment
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of inventory or documentation is an added advantage
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
