Position & Project Details
- Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Number of Positions: 01.
- Project Title: “Integrated nanofiber dressings: optimizing epithelialization, angiogenesis, and antimicrobial activities for advanced wound healing”
- PI: Dr. Shyam Lal M
- Department: Animal Biology – School of Life Sciences
- Fellowship: ₹37,000 per month + 27% HRA.
- Tenure: Initial appointment for one year, extendable up to 3 years based on performance.
- Age Limit: Maximum 28 years (relaxations for OBC/SC/ST/others as per DBT norms).
Project Focus & Desirable Experience
The research focuses on developing advanced wound-healing dressings using functionalized nanofibers.
- Core Focus: Optimization of epithelialization, angiogenesis, and antimicrobial properties.
- Technical Skills: Good knowledge of the synthesis and functionalization of nanoparticles.
- Experience: Prior expertise in the field of nanobiotechnology is highly desirable for this role.
Essential Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this Junior Research Fellow position:
- Education: M.Sc. in any discipline of Life Sciences with first-class marks.
- National Level Exam: Valid GATE, CSIR-NET, or UGC-NET qualification is compulsory.
