Job Overview:
The Invitro ADME Scientist job role supports in vitro metabolism and ADME studies for small-molecule drug discovery programs. The position involves executing liver microsome and CYP inhibition assays, operating laboratory automation platforms, and managing multiple high-volume ADME projects within defined timelines. This laboratory-based role requires accurate documentation of experiments, strict adherence to safety and quality standards, and effective communication of study outcomes during cross-functional scientific discussions.
Educational Requirements:
- MSc in Biological Science
Experience Required:
- Foundational industrial experience in ADME or DMPK research
- Practical exposure to in vitro metabolism studies
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute in vitro metabolism and ADME assays
- Perform CYP inhibition and IC₅₀ studies using human liver microsomes
- Prepare SOPs and ensure compliant study reporting
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and housekeeping
- Present study results in cross-functional scientific meetings
- Ensure continuous adherence to EHS and laboratory safety guidelines
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of in vitro ADME assays
- Troubleshooting skills for metabolism studies
