About the Job:
DRDE invites applications from young and meritorious Indian nationals who desire to pursue defense-related research as Junior Research Fellows (JRF). Selection will be made on the basis of a walk-in interview.
- Job Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Number of Fellowships: No restriction (numbers may change as per organizational requirements).
- Monthly Stipend: As per CSIR-UGC-NET policy.
- Age limit: 28 years, relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and by 3 years for OBC candidates.
- Initial Tenure: initially for two years as JRF and would be upgraded based on performance.
Education Qualifications:
- Biological Science: First class M.Sc. in Biological Stream (Life Sciences/Zoology/ Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Microbiology/Toxicology/Immunology).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct defence-oriented scientific research
- Support laboratory experimentation and analysis
- Prepare technical reports and documentation
- Assist senior scientists in research projects
Skills Required:
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Knowledge of Life Sciences or Chemistry domains
